50-Year Reunion

Please plan to come to Forest City July 19-20 and join your FCHS classmates as we mark 50 years since graduation. Please encourage all classmates to join us!
Donations in any amount will be accepted during the events to cover our costs.
Schedule of Events
Friday afternoon/evening, July 19:
Arrive at the Wooge Farm at 1970 Pilot Knob Road at 3:00 pm or thereafter.
Suggested donation per person is $15 to cover food and other expenses. We will eat about 5:30. Grilled pork loin with side dishes. Bring your own beverages/coolers. Water, cups, ice and setups will be available on site. Stay as long as you wish throughout the evening and catch up with classmates.
Option 1: Saturday morning, July 20:
8:00 am to Noon - Golf at Bear Creek Golf Course.
Foursomes will play a best shot format. Tee times are reserved starting at 9:00 am. Please plan to arrive between 8:00 – 8:30 am for registration, foursome assignments and tee times. Green fees & cart fees apply.
Option 2: Saturday morning, July 20:
8:30 – 11:00 AM - Puckerbrush Days Parade.
Non-golfers can represent the Class of 69 on our entry in the parade.
Involves riding on a trailer or walking.
Line up on John Hanson Dr. starting at 8:30.
Parade begins at 10 am.
More instructions will be available at our Friday evening gathering.
Puckerbrush Days activities continue throughout the day and evening!

Saturday evening, July 20:
Buffet Dinner at Waldorf University@ SW corner of 6th and J Streets.
Arrive at 4:00 pm. Dinner at 6:30.
Two meat entrees, salads, sides plus dessert!
Suggested donation per person is $15.
You may bring your own beer or wine. No hard liquor.
I have purchased various bottles of red and white wine that will be available by the glass (donations appreciated to cover the cost).
The Waldorf banquet room and lobby area will be ours for the entire evening!
Pictures- If anyone has a spouse that would be willing to serve as photographer during the events, please let me know. (I may have a FC relative who will do it.)
Sunday afternoon option:
The Winnebago Historical Society at the old Mansion Hotel on Clark Street is open every Sunday afternoon from 1-4 pm. $7 admission.
If you haven’t already sent in your RSVP, please do so no later than July 7, 2019.
(If you’ve already RSVP’d, no need to do so again.)
